The months since Narrae's fateful punishment at the volcano had resulted in her growing... larger. The old den she'd inhabited with Xiu no longer fit more than the tip of her muzzle and the forest now barely hid her girth as she traveled. Certainly, some of the larger trees barely surpassed her height, but the smaller ones bent and cracked as she passed, occasionally fumbling with her larger form.
Because of the change, Narrae had taken to resting in or around the volcano. She used it to shield her from detection and also for warmth, which was ever important to the primitive dragon. Her lizard-styled survivability relied heavily upon basking and keeping at an appropriate temperature-- things that the volcano's many ledges provided with ease.
As far as the clan had been concerned, everything was running nicely. Valaina was responsible for those interlopers from the desert and the multi-winged creature that glowed in a manner which seared her eyes. Truthfully, she understood his stance as a creature of the light and that his presence would always discomfort her, no matter what the situation, but she also understood that she meant no harm to it and its ilk-- her dabbling in dark magic had only been for the preservation of her life and little else. Killing Myrria and getting revenge, yes, but nothing more after that, she was sure.
At least, she'd been sure up until the present, which was around midday.
She lounged upon one of the outcrops of the volcano, Blankface's top hat levitating around her in its particular manner, with her attention fixed upon an area further down the mountain chain. Surely, the multi-wing wouldn't broach opposition of her if she attempted to bring another into their ranks... would he? Narrae recalled vaguely the dragon's words regarding another clan, but the bluescale felt little fear for what would pass if she happened to 'borrow' that particular female.
Narrae did not desire to keep Kaylour, no, but she wanted the other's spatial abilities to enable her to more readily locate Myrria. After Myrria was found, Kaylour could come and go as she pleased. Narrae couldn't care less, after that.
As such, the small titan spread her wings and threw herself off of the volcano, hat trailing after her as she flew, avoiding emitting any calls to prevent detection as long as she could. Kaylour would be a tricky capture and the beast didn't want to screw it up.
